Native of Offenbach am
Main, (Germany), growed up at Stuttgart and Hannover (Germany), study of music
(clarinet and piano) at Hannover and Hamburg, Michael Berth moved to Italy (Lake
Major) in 1983.
From 1985 his musical interest moved towards the sound-synthesis and the using
most of all vintage analogue synthesisers and since some time also increasingly
the Physical Modeling applications.
Not "only"
a composer, at times he explores multimedia-art including in some projects not
only sound but also
Video-Art and
Computer
Graphics.
In his "Dr.Jekyll-Mr.Hyde"
existence he alternates between his personally works (experimental vanguard),
and the activity as producer as well as commissioned works in countless stiles.
Its esthetics as a composer can be defined as floating
between ECS
and
Trac-series
relative at the two Labels that form part of Bermont Records. However, the nearness
to the ac-series screens is to be classified as mainly.
